Temp Monitor programs

I currently use Asus probe to monitor the temp of my system. I discovered Core Temp and that program report CPU temps 4 degress lower than Probe does. So if Core temp is accruate I'm running at 28C 🙂

The problem with Core Temp is it does not monitor my Mobo temp and there is no graph history feature. I would really like to have that feature so I can get an idea of how hot the system runs while under a intense gaming load.

Any suggestions?

Those are generally considered to be a good indicator for judging system temps.

IMO, My only suggestion if you want anything more definite would to invest in a IR sensor device. I use a Craftman's IR Temperature Probe for more precise readings. Your choice.

Wow, I turned on AMDs cool and quite thing to drop the speed of my CPU.
Core temp is reporting a temp of 22C.

What is real amazing about that is my room temp is 24.3C :Q
I got sub room temp cooling using nothing but a Venus 12 fan.

Your CPU temp cannot go below ambient.

Actually that's incorrect. You can get below ambient via Vapor Phase cooling.

FYI: I was being a wise @$$ towards the accuracy of core temp.
You might want to upgrade the firmware of your sarcasm detector. 😛

Yes on mine, everest can read both, the die temp (CoreTemp) and the socket (which is read by almost all apps), ofcourse you'll have to hunt around for the free version since they stopped the free one and now its pay-per-license only now.

I've used Everest for a while and like it a lot too. Glad I saved a backup copy on my thumb drive before they dropped the free version.
