temp monitor for mac

I want to know how hot my cpu gets when im gaming on my mba. For pc i use coretemp, i would like something similar. Or maybe something that will show in the corner while playing games. Either way i just need something, since up until now i have had nothing monitoring the temp.

I use iStat Menus. Its $16, but works fantastically well. My Mac Pro has like 25+ temperature sensors including hard-drive bays, mobo, CPU, ram.. etc. iStat does network monitoring, calendars, graphics card, hard-drive space/speed.. It sits in the top toolbar.

They have MiStat which looks more like an application.. Never used it. $4.99

I use iStat Pro (also from bjango). It doesn't have a menubar drop down like menus, but it's free (but runs in DashBoard). I would use iStat Menus but I can't justify $16 when iStat Pro is free and I don't need it all the time in the menubar.

I have also used MiStat. When I used it, it was a bit of a resource hog when it came to monitoring programs, but it was reminiscent of their iStat for iOS in terms of UI. I actually use (for my servers) iStat server and run iStat on my iPhone to access the iStat server (it runs on port 5901). Useful for monitoring CPU usage, temperatures, and network usage when I'm not home.

I use SMCfancontrol. It just puts a little icon on the menu bar.
