Temp internet folder is 2.2GB

My temp internet folder is 2.2GB but right now I only see 2 cookies that are 1kb each. I cleared the files and cookies and change folder options to view all hidden files and system files but still can see why it is 2.2GB. Ideas please?

Go into IE tools and see what size it's set to? Mine is currently 10MB.

Perhaps setting it to a small size will get rid of the 2.2GB?

Some viruses multiply using superhidden files. I'll reply soon on how to see those but they are not a good idea to mess with.

Revealing super hidden files

1. Click the start button and select run.

2. Type regedit in the box and click OK to start up the Editor.

3. Once regedit appears, navigate through HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

4. Right-click ShowSupperHidden and select modify

5. Change the value to 1 and click OK to save your changes.

uh oh hot dog!... super hidden files now show

EDIT
You might have to log off and back on before the changes happen.

Thanks, I will try revealing super hidden files when I get home tonight. I hope it reveals hidden folders also.
When I use Diskpie software it shows a folder(DV1.2.3[1]) that is within the Temp internet folder that is 2.2GB but I can't get to(or see it) it using explorer. I need to delete that folder.

I have already cleared all the files in IE.

I generally just delete the files via the command-line since the GUI hides that sh!t from you.
Or log in as another user who has administrative privilages; it doesnt hide it from other users.

Thanks for the help

The superhidden file trick didn't show the hidden folders.
I was able to erase the folder going into CMD
Without Diskpie I wouldn't be able to find that folder.
