temp internet file size suggestions

I have always wondered what the best file size is to use for temporary internet files. My internet connection is 3mb cable. Some people say disable temp files, but I keep mine at 20mb. What is the best thing to do?

I set it to 1MB in IE.

I leave it at the browser default (20MB) in Opera.

on a fast connection, i really don't see the point. I have everyone's registry set here to delete all temp files on browser exit.
