temp for celeron 2

i found out that my celeron can go to 66.5 before displaying some wack alien letters or something

i'd keep it below, preferably well below 50c
unless, of course, you are trying to actually fry it ;)

66.5c I dont think the chip would last more than 30 seconds at that temp. it's realy high for a t-bird and EXTREMELY hight for a coppermine. I would keep it under 45 if I were you.

actually i believe t'birds and durons are marked to run at 90c before any immediate damage occurs

yes well they cant do that in real world situations. thats why they lock up before 65 celcius

well, the measured 65C in most cases is about 10-15C off actual core temp, so the core's aren't locking up until 75-80C.
