What is a good temp to keep a GPU on a video card running at under a load? Non-overlcocked.

What temp should i start worrying about the safety of the card?

Running a X850 Series.

It depends on the card but for an actively cooled card if you start going over 90 C I'd be doing something to improve the cooling in the case and/or the card.

Well, my 6800U ran 85C load.....got a VF700 for it, but my cramped case didn't help. That's were a 7800GT and a P180 came in. I now load 70C and idle 42C.

my 9600 XT runs in the high 40s or low 50s under full load and 32 C idle - stock cooling.

Sapphire X800 GTO runs at 38 on idle, and about 50 under load.

Overclocked to 600/600 from 400/490.
