Temp based controller for P12/S12s

I'm looking for something that will ramp up the fans more reliably than apparently the mobo does. I've built a silence-priority rig and in the recent mini-heatwave I've managed to lightly toast the innards of the PC while being engrossed in a game. After I quit, I was like... *sniff sniff* and "Holy ****!"

No lasting damage done I think, but nevertheless it's still disconcerting when the case is very warm 3 mins after the machine was hurriedly hibernated (though most likely, temps would have returned to normal in any case had I shut it down or not).

I used a Scythe Kama something a while back but didn't really like it, didn't work that well. Any good controllers for the Noctua fans so they run as slowly as they can until they *have* to run faster?
