I posted a while back about problems with my VisionTek GF2 GTS. After a fresh format I am still having the same problems. I have tried win2k and win 98, using the 6.31, 6.47 and 6.49 Detonator drivers. The problem is not as bad as the first sample i had, but this one still has a problem. It crashes in game after only a few minutes of gaming. It just black screens me but i can still hear the game running or locked up (repeating sounds) in the background, at which time the monitor light goes from normal green to yellow. It does this for both d3d and opengl games. I am thinking that it might be overheating? Are there any programs that can tell me the temperature of the video card? Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks again.....

P.S. what should the temperature be? (figured i should ask this :))

I am going to (hopefully soon) be replacing my HSF on my ASUS V6600 and getting a "Digital Doctor 3" the digital doctor has 8 temp probes you can put on anything. That is the only real way to be sure of your temps. If after a crash, shut down and touch your HSF and see if it is hot to the touch or just warm. Depending on how easy it is to dissasemble your case this may offer some insight.
