So about a week ago I had my Cannondale bike stolen from me. Its a few years old, but all the components were high end XT/XTR components making the bike worth atleast $500. Anyway, being the poor college student that I am I was pissed. 3 days later I went to a lingerie and boxer party with my friends! The night started off well, but it got even better. When my friends and I decided to leave the party to hit up a club I saw my bike parked with other the bikes in the apt. complex. I could not believe it. Was I just faded? I took a better look and sure enough it had the front green tires, rear black tires, Nukeproof bombshell hubs, the missing bike computer, same grips, etc. It was my fvcking bike! I took a better look and it was locked to another Gary Fischer bike and neither of the bikes were locked to the bike parking. YES! I put both bikes on my shoulder and proceeded to walk to my friends nearby apt until I could drive my truck over to take both bikes. While I was walkng away some dude yells...."Hey! why you stealing those bikes!". I dropped both bikes, found the guy and was like..."That Cannondale is my fvcking bike, if you stole my bike come out and let me kick your ass, otherwise leave me the fvck alone." He respnded by saying he knew there was a party upstairs and was afraid ppl were being rowdy and stealing bikes. He also commented on me taking the extra Gary Fischer bike. I told him that whoever stole my bike decided to lock my bike to his Gary Fischer and that I was not going to leave my bike here. The Gary Fischer is what I charge for the 3 days he rented my bike. Anyway...now I have my bike locked to another bike and I need to find someway to take the Ulock off. Does anybody know how to take the Ulock off? Tried to saw it through
to no avail.
