Yes, all Democrats long for the days of American citizens, military, staff and diplomats being held blindfolded and under threat by Iranian terrorists. Democrats call those "The good old Jimmy Carter days" Longing for double digit inflation and double digit interest rates. Yep, what a great Democratic Party President.

Please explain which of President Carter’s actions or policies directly led to the OPEC crisis or Iranian hostage taking.

Criticism of Carter was based on his bumbling response to crises, not his actual policies causing them. Hell, he actually thought he’d beat stagflation by reducing deficits and government spending (GOP playbook) and his failure is why Democrats now advocate for targeted public spending to help lift a stagnant economy. Like Obama, he also inherited a mess built up by his GOP predecessor.

But hey, next time another Republican runs for President, we can all fondly remember trampling the rule of law, trade wars resulting in welfare for farmers, and wealth transfers from the working class to billionaires.

And next time a Democrat president is in, we'll all join hands and screech in unison about how bad they're doing after inheriting an economic and global opinion shitshow, regardless of how fast it improves.

Bonus points for running stories about what condiments they put on their food, and how that makes them an elitist.

It's a waste of time asking a pathological liar to tell the truth. To me, the defining characteristic of Trump is his deep need to lie about everything. Even when he doesn't have to lie, he still does. It's his comfort zone and he won't ever give it up.

Why did Reagan keep Paul Volker and the economic policies from the Carter term?

if you fault one you have to fault them both.

This guy is so honest he gave an interview to Playboy during the campaign where he admitted he checked out other women.

Well, that's what occured to me - telling the truth didn't do Carter much good. He's not a great advert for honesty in politicians!

"Representatives for the other living former U.S. presidents -- Democrats Bill Clinton ..........."
I wonder what ole Billy Clinton would have told them about impeachment?

What Bill learned is that Blow Jobs are bad. What Donnie is learning is that treason is good.

Reagan made a treasonous deal with Iran to prevent any negotiations with Carter during the election year and previous, so that they would be released upon Reagan's inauguration. and lol that you blame this on Carter. One assume that you were alive in those days, but it appears that your eyes weren't really open yet.

Why is that? Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in awhile.

I gather that you don't actually understand the substance of the question: why is it important to keep Volker and the people responsible for "the bad things Carter did" that are actually somehow correct and now represent "the correct things that Reagan did."

I think you are just team-sportsing politics again, and don't understand the inference at all.

I mean, you literally blame Carter for breaking things before he got there, claim Reagan fixed them all, are presented with the fact that the same team was involved with both situations....but that somehow Carter was lucky to have it so good (apparently was actually correct)?

Your mind is a dizzying place to be, my friend.

Most despicable thing done in election manipulation since Trump showed up. Yep, Republicans never change. Win at all cost, including being a traitor.

Trump couldn't tell the truth before and if he does now he winds up in prison for the rest of his natural life. He has no choices left.

Sure he did. Gov. Reagan wielded his enormous power as a retired California Governor to influence Iran. Nice conspiracy theory. You been watching Glen Beck again? Was it aliens too? Ooooh look it's even in wiki:

Good boy!

"After twelve years of varying media attention, both houses of the U.S. Congress held separate inquiries and concluded that the allegations lacked supporting documentation. "

Then, not long after...Ronnie Rayguns and his "boyz" sold a shit-ton of guns to Iran...
