Ok, this may deal more with hot deals and forum issues, but someone in the busy ATOT must know.

A person links to refurb section on newegg and then states how many are in stock (13 of such item). How does this person get a count? I don't see it on the site. Was it an insider? Was someone putting them in the cart until they didn't show up on site anymore?


A similar "count" thing. I've seen people say " I followed up with a post that's 72 posts down." Did this person count based on threads viewed in each window or is there some special "counter" you can enable on here?


The experienced people are freaking me out. Help me learn masters.

I don't know about the Newegg inventory thing, but there's this column that says "Replies" and if the original poster saw 71 replies at the time he replied, then it's going to be 72 posts down from his original message.

When you are at Newegg, add an item to your cart. Change the quantity to 99, then refresh the cart. It will automagically change to however many of the item are in stock.

Ahh, I can now smile and relax. That newegg trick is actually pretty cool. Sadly, the replies thing is quite likely how it was done, but it would be so much cooler if there was some embedded counter that you could make visible.

well if u had knowledge of cars you would know its counter-productive to drop thousands trying to make a drag racer out of a family car... the money is better spent as a down payment on a nice american V8 powered car
