Don't buy the home security camera.

Why:
I misread the subject as "Tell me not to buy this home security camera"

The batteries will run for 2 years! But the warranty is only for 1 year. Are they replaceable?

How does the cloud work. X amount of storage, how long is it store for?

Is 110 FoV good enough for you?

I think they were normal AA and replacable; that the cloud had enough storage for maybe like 7 days which is ok; and I think 110 is ok. So then it becomes more, 'is there a better' option - and of course the sale is over now.

Can it act as a normal security camera too? If you arn't recording locally that means if your internet goes down, or is overloaded, or the cloud server becomes inaccessible (ex: company going under) then it won't be recording anywhere.

i find it hard to believe the battery can lasts 2 years. but the reviews seems to be very high.
i use hardwired POE system. much much more robust and no cloud to deal with. everything is stored locally. you can upgrade the hard to 4 or 8TB.
