"his" prospective was that he was pissed...not her...its a little thing...dont make a big deal outa somethin like this...if a girl with wash my dirty undies then heck....how can I complain?

Read her post. She's pissed; not him.

I'm so mad right now I could break something, but I'm at work so I had to vent my frustration here
for your edification

Okay.. in easy words and summarized. Juniper, him telling you not to wash your underwear with his is just a test. It is something that bugs him. He is seeing whether or not you will insist on crossing his 'line' or not. I am certain about this.

Talk to him without being pissed and ask him why (again, WITHOUT getting pissed).

C'mon man, earth is here. When you live together its about practicality. There are bills to pay, theres no time for all this thing. We share chores and because he was sick I did his too. I am pissed because I'm getting yelled at for no apparent reason.

Oh, you're getting yelled at? You did not say that in your first post. That is different then.

If he doesn't accept a "Well I didn't know. And if it means that much to you, then I won't.", then he's the one being ridiculous.

I don't get why you can't just do your own laundry. Just don't do your laundry until you have enough for a full load....that way you are not worrying about wasting electricity or water or whatevers...

It' snot that big of a deal...

wtf are you taking about, and what do you know about him?! He and I are both pissed. There are no testing or whatsoever.

Do your own laundry. Not to satisfy his ego or whatsoever, just to avoid any huge fights like this. :D

You didn't say that he was yelling at you in his first post. He shouldn't be pissed about it. From your first post, I thought he just asked you not to wash your laundry with his and you were getting irate about it.

He shouldn't have yelled at you for that. He really should not have expected you to know about his quirk without ever telling you.

But, if he feels strongly about a quirk, then why push the issue?

It sucks to get yelled at. I'm sorry about that.

doesn't really matter if he is yelling or not. His hang up is irrational, hence he is a dumbass.

Would not memorizing your phone number make you irrational?

only thing i could think of would be having his white shirts end up w/ yer red lacy undies and turn his undershirts all nice and light pink, a beacon for gay fellows...

but since yer the one doing the laundry and not him potentially blundering it, he shoudl just get over it. how can one bitch when someone else's doing the work?

This whole argument is stupid. People keep overlooking the simple fact of the thread. Her bf got pissed about something really dumb. Face it. Who the !#@$ cares about something like that? Personal space? Personal space?!? Personal space my ass! If you want personal space don't live with your gf! If your gf is DOING YOUR LAUNDRY FOR YOU, wtf right do yo have to complain about? If you don't like it, tell her not to do it for you and that you'll do it yourself or do HERS for her. Wtf.

I always do my own laundry and sometimes do my friend's laundry as well (he lives with me and my family). There are never any probs in that regard. Sometimes all the clothes are piled already, so I just add mine and run the washer and dryer, and that's the end of the story.

To look at things from a different perspective - if someone DIDNT want me to do whatever with their laundry I'd just say fvck it and leave their laundry alone - whatever, they can take care of themselves. Running one extra load of laundry is not gonna ruin everything even if you're a poor couple living alone in some shietty apartment.

Talk about everything being blown out of proportion. Man. Just laundry...

edit: this reminds me of something else that was really stupid, kind of similar. my mom made a huge fuss over someone eating a lunch. Yep. LUNCH. Just because it was MEANT to be taken on a lunch to school or work and someone ate it at home. OMFG, not a $2.95 meal allllllllll gone to waste at home instead of out! ITS THE END OF THE FREAKING WORLD! :Q

jeez, some people.
