TELL ME THE BEST DUAL DISPLAY CARD

HI,

I HAVE A DUAL DISPLAY CARD REQUIREMENT, IN WHICH THE SECOND MONITOR WILL BE A TV IN WHICH MOVIE ("COMMERCIALS") WILL BE PLAYED CONTINUOUSLY AND THE SECOND MONITOR WILL A COMPUTER MONITOR WHICH WILL HAVE A PROGRAM WHICH IS USES HIGH GRAPHICS.

PLEASE TELL ME WHICH CARD WILL BEST SUIT MY REQUIREMENT AND WILL NOT HAVE ANY PERFORMANCE SNAGS AND AVAILABLE AT A MODERATE PRICE...

I HAVE HEARD THAT RADEON 7500 VE AND 8500 SERIES HAS A LOT OF DRIVER PROBLEMS WITH WIN98 IT IT TRUE???

use lower cases.

appian will get you there w/o gaming - very expensive

matrox g450/550 will get you there with some gaming

the ati will get you there with most gaming ability but there are some driver issue and problem with defected cards in early shipment..

i only heard people call it defected if they can't get it to work in their system... which was probably a driver issue

so either way, you may get defected card or bad driver, it doesn't work as well.. some people suggest trying to exchange the card.. but how many time can you exchange a card when you buy it from dell ? it takes forever to get stuff from them already..

matrox g550 is a very nice card and comes in both pci and agp flavors. Dual head is excellent and drivers are nice and stable.
