1989 and STILL my favorite movie of all time. I simply LOVE the Joker's saddistic killing/humour. I think I'll pop in the DVD right now and watch it :D

-Here we are, the perfect pair...Beauty and the Beast. Mind you, if anybody calls you beast, I'll rip their lungs out.

-I'm the world's first homicidal artist. I make art until someone dies.

-What kinda of a world is this where a man dressed as a bat gets ALL MY PUBLICITY?! This town needs an enema!

-And now, folks, it's time for "Who do you trust!" Hubba, hubba, hubba! Money, money, money! Who do you trust? Me? I'm giving away free money. And where is the Batman? HE'S AT HOME WASHING HIS TIGHTS!

-Now comes the part where I relieve you, the little people, of the burden of your failed and useless lives. But remember, as my plastic surgeon always said: if you gotta go, go with a smile.

The Joker is my hero :D

i don't think it was Batman's fault, as some of them did a decent job, given the sh!tty scripts. I think the biggest fault with all the sequels were the pathetic villains. None of them even come close to Jack Nicholson's portrayal of the Joker, in fact, none of them are even close to his caliber of acting.

I agree. The Joker is probably the best all time comic-book-movie villian. The only one who can even come close so far is Col. Stryker from X2.

I thought that Batman Returns (the second and last Burton Batman flick) was just as good...well almost. Penguin and Cat Woman = pure bliss. And the scene at the end where the little penguins are carry Penguin's body into the sewer makes me bust out laughing every time!!! :D

Penguin was played well. Catwoman wasn't as good as it coulda been, but she was daaaaaaamn sexy in that black costume. In general, I think the later movies lacked the dark gothic overtones that the first two had.

Batman and Batman Returns owned. I refuse to watch the other two. Too many fruity colors and stupid hip hop music. Batman is supposed to be DARK!

They still have yet to find an actor who has the true body type of Batman. They use a rubber suit to make the man. In the comic book, Bruce Wayne is a finely tuned athlete, and extremely intelligent. The man made the suit.

What, you've got to be freakin' kidding me? Stryker was weak, lame at best in that movie. He's a little bitch compared to the Joker.

The Joker is the better villian, I agree. His insanity and his taste for seemingly needless violence win that debate hands down. However, Stryker gave off such an evil vibe that I found him quite hard to ignore.
