I am slowly piecing my system together. I started about a month ago and will have all the components by the end of the month. Today I went to new egg and saw this case on the front page :

Blue Chieftec $69 shipped.

I also found an Antec 330W True Power for $60 shipped.

That brings the total to $129 shipped for a good case and PSU. I was wondering if you all thought this was a pretty good deal for that case plus PSU, and also if you think that PSU will be enough to support dvd-rom, cd-rw, radeon 9700 pro, epox 8rda+, 2100+xp, 1 gig Corsair, fans, a couple of cathodes, etc. Let me know ASAP because I am going to order today if a couple of you give it a go without a few 'counter offers/deals'.

Thanks!

Nice case. I have 4 of these, 2 charcoal black and 2 silver w/ windows (one aluminum & one steel) all from Newegg. Not really sure of your budget , but try to get at least a 400W PSU for the components. Cheers. ;)

Yah I am kind of on a tight budget but don't really want to skimp if I can help it. Am I really going to 'need' more than 330W? I don't mean later I mean as of right now with those current specs. I'm sure that eventually I will get a bigger PSU but I'm not sure that I can afford the extra $20 right now unless it is absolutely necessary. Thanks!

It should work at the current setup, I was just thinking you might not upgrade later on.

Check out Amazon.com for the PSU. You can get the truepower 330 for like $47 shipped and the 430 for 66 shipped. Those prices are with a coupon for 5 off of 35 and 10 off of 75. The coupon can be found all over the internet. The 330 should be enough to support all of that, but I dont think you will have a lot of overhead.

How much power does the 9700 actually draw?

Newegg got an Enermax 350W PSU back in stock that I was wanting to buy with the Chieftec so I went ahead and did it. Total was around $117 shipped and I'm pretty happy with that price. Thanks for the help guys!
