I saw the trailer at a movie I was watching

About 10 seconds into the trailer I was like : This is Can't Buy Me Love .

I noticed on the trailer ending (credits or whatever) they actually put that it is based on the screenplay "Cant buy me love" so you are absolutely right.

Can't buy me love is for the whities, and this one is targeted blacks and j.lo clan. It's totoally different, IMHO.

Seems to be pretty common all of the sudden. Reverse the gender on The Full Monty and you get Calendar Girls. Do that with Dead Poet's Society and you get Mona Lisa Smile. And take away the legwarmers and Honey is the 21st Century version of Flashdance (or perhaps the non-rap version of 8 Mile).

Maybe recycling isn't all that good for the environment after all.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Revolting the lack of new stories in hollywood today.
