I am getting ready to open a small business center that will have internet access very similar to a Starbucks WiFi Hotspot. Posted a thread in networking on the hows and whys of setting that up.

Now I need advise on some hardware. Can I set up some cheap laptops or desktops that will have Win7 (32 or 64 ??), MS Office 2010 Pro and maybe a few other very common programs. I am thinking of installing those to a small SSD but the user would have to save their work to a flash drive or portable HDD.

Want to keep this as simple and low cost as possible. If they need or want high performance they need to bring their own PC.

Will connect to internet by WiFi, no peer to peer, but will have a group small office Copier/Printer/Scanner by WiFi.

What would be my best plan to make this all work?

Just get some Dell Vostros for ~$400 each. I would put Deep Freeze on them so that you don't have to worry about people screwing them up. Deep Freeze is only like $45 a system for less than 10, $32 each for more than 10.
