I'm about to buy a Canon Optura Pi.
I've looked at just about EVERY DAMNED OPTION out there.
I decided on the Optura for these reasons...
* OPTICAL Stabilization
Since Stability is handled via lenses, there's minimal loss at high zooms
* Progressive Scan CCD
No interlacing when capturing frames, means cleaner, less blurring video
* Analog Input
I can use it as a conduit to capture video from other sources
* High Shutter speed 1/4000
Great for action shots.
* The Optura is RENOWNED among it's owners for ability in capturing GOOD quality in medium/low light (inside lighting)
There you have it. Anyone else have any other good info?
