I'm in the market for a new mobo....

I currently have an ECS K7S5A 1.x and it's was great. Now though, after a couple years it seems to be on it's last leg. I'm looking to find another one. I have a AMD XP 1800+ processor, Audigy2 Sound Card, 2 IDE HD's, Antec True Power 550W PS, PCI TV Tuner Card and an AGP GeForce 2 MMX 440 Graphics card. I started looking at ECS, because I was extremely pleased with the K7S5A.

I found this guy on newegg.com

ECS L7S7A2

Has anybody had good or bad experience with this board?

Would you recommend it?

I'm also going to be upgrading the CPU in the mid to far future, should i just wait till then?

Thank in advance
Andrew

Since you like ECS and you are going to be upgrading soon, I would get the new ECS motherboard that supports the Athlon64. By the time you need it, hopefully the CPU (3000+) will be under $200, its only $220 right now. The mohterboard can be had for $72 to $94 right now.

I've been using an L7S7A2 since the end of Oct. It replaced an older EPOX KT266 board. I have had no trouble at all. It's not overclocked and runs with a 2400 XP and 768M of PC2100 Mixed brands depending on Best Buy rebates). My overall ECS board experience is good. I have 2 K7S75A 's 2yrs and 1 yr old. Both no trouble.
