I was raised an Adventist also. Can't say I practice any of their doctrines anymore but they advocate a sound doctrine on health, and they operate a lot of hospitals around the world.

Adventists do not believe in an eternal hell.

Like I said...It's been awhile, but I do remember something about a burning lake of fire.

Sounds very odd to me. :/

Absolutely! When you break down religions...they all have there philosophys that come from somewhere! Some do sound very odd. 🙂

Personally I believe that a person does'nt need a religion to have faith. I have my own relationship with God...and think that a bunch of rules and regulations and rituals should'nt tell me how to believe in my God. I feel that as long as you follow the golden rule in general then it's all good. 🙂
