Tell me about my computer

Well, it's a Celeron clocked at 1.1GHz, uses PC133 RAM, and thats about all I know. What socket is this? Anything I can do with it? Any games it's powerful enough to run a server for? I might just use it as a file server, or just put it on my shelf

its a tualatin core celeron, fsb 100mhz, 256kb L2 cache, one of the only good celerons out there...but mostly only good for email, surfing and very light gaming, might be ok for a server with enough ram...

Could it use a pair of 256MB dimms? I've heard some motherboards from this era didn't like some high volume modules.

I suggest that you can:

1. Use it as a linux-based firewall
2. Serve home files, or as a print server
3. Donate it (many charities will accept computers in any state)
4. Run something like folding@home or seti@home all day and night, for the greater good =P
