Used to live between New Orleans and Metairie. Suburban areas had their good times, I moved out about 6 years ago, don't know whats going on now. Excuse me if my geographical knowledge of my home state is lacking (Slidell is up north across Lake Ponchartrain for all i know)...I was rather young and stupid back then.
