Mine: Pizza buffet lunch at Round Table Pizza. Each pays $8 for lunch and white elephant exchange. Pretty barebones and thrifty. This is for a gov't office.

Hotel rented out for 4 hours - with music and entertainment. Every employee is getting a gift - rumor is it's iPad Mini. Company did well this year.

We're having cocktails and lunch at the country club later this month. They cancelled our dirty santa gift exchange, and are planning some surprise "activity".

I'm trying to figure out how to gracefully decline.

Pot luck in the break room. Gift exchange & white elephant ornament game. Topped with an ugliest xmas sweater contest. This is for a gov't office.

The Commodore Ballroom rented out for us with various food stations situated all over the place, a live band, and three very large bars.

Get to pay $22 to go to a hall for lunch. At least it's open bar and I don't have to be at work. Probably a few random prizes handed out.

We used to get a nice catered lunch at a local hotel. This year we get desert in a conference room.

Best work Christmas party I've had is when I worked at a medium size company (about 500 employees) when I still lived in California. They rented out the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Food stations, mini bars and music throughout the place. It was really awesome.
