I know. You were just sitting there thinking, "How can I watch more of it?"
I've got two suggestions and one to avoid.
The Good Wife -- I don't believe I've even heard it mentioned here, but it's the best network drama going by far. Faint praise indeed, but there you have it. Great characterizations by an A-1 cast: Josh Charles (got an emmy for his role), Julianna Margulies (drool), Christine Baranski (great choice!), Archie Panjabi (drool with a hot side of kinky!), Matt Czuchry, Alan Cumming (should get an emmy for his role), Chris Noth. Even the kids and Noth's Mom -- all perfectly realized characters strongly portrayed. It's a show for adults.
Boss -- Another nuanced show for adults. Shakespearean drama/Greek tragedy set amongst the politics of Chicago. Kelsey Grammar, what can I say? His personal life may be a pathetic train wreck, but the man has presence and acting chops out the wazoo. Yet another really well chosen ensemble cast.
Hell On Wheels -- Bloated, stiff-necked, awkward and derivative. Cliches lumber around doing their cliched things. The bloated pretense is near nauseating. Now excuse me while I go purge in the powder room.
And there you have it! My motto: I watch so you don't have to!
