What is a good place to find a decent telescope for a good price (other than E-bay)?

The Meade 125 & 90 are good telescope for that price.

try a camera store... they generally have a telescope selection.


i went to oceanside photo and telescope... course, it's only in oceanside... san diego... but seriously, try a camera store.

Ohhh...I used a Wolf Camera B&M store...Was happy, seems "upscale" so I guess I would use the website without too much worry. Couse, also why I mentioned it too....

i can personally vouch for Celestron 😀 awesome telescopes.


but if you want to become an astrogeek, build your own. my dad ground his own mirrors for his telescope...

And I can vouch for Meade. Excellent, and built like tanks (Relative to the fact that it IS a big mirror)

Get this You wont be disappointed one damned bit with that 'scope. Its absolutely stunning I'm sure.
