The phone rings during dinner.. it's Ipsos survey company and they are conducting a survey of consumers in my area, would I be willing to complete a (lengthy) telephone survey of my grocery shopping habits?

I replied why I certainly would Joshua but what will you be giving me ?

Joshua replies..ÿou'll be helping to improve service, isn't that a fantastic incentive?"

I respond, " no it isn't, I want money"

lol,the guy literally started stuttering!!

I got a call at work talking about some break thru technology for people hard of hearing.

The only problem was the recording was playing so low, i could hardly hear it with perfect hearing. . . somewhat ironic.

Or are those survey calls exempted?

Yep, surveys are exempted, and this loophole is often used get around the rules -- BS 4 question "survey" followed by disguised sales pitch.

In Jean's case it was probably a legitimate survey, as it was lengthy.

Should've demanded a million dollar and ask him to counter.

should have asked him for his home phone number so you could call when it was convenient for you.

That almost makes me not want to screen my calls anymore. Imagine the fun I'd be having.

I've even gotten telemarketers on the phone to hang to see how many i can assemble, this is a sat phone and the caller pays about £6 a minute (that is what, about $100?) and eventually we come back and ask him to hang on, when he's over 10K we just tell him that he just made a phonecall worth £10 000.

I've only gotten one but there is something flakey about the sat phones this last three days.

Another good thing is to start or end every meaning with "sexually speaking".

Like, "how long does that battery last, sexually speaking"

Try it, they will say "excuse me" or "what" then either ask again, or describe your sexual needs in a detailed manner.

one woman would deal with telemarketers by giving the phone to her 5 year old.

food for thought.
