The telemarketing industry estimates the do-not-call list could cut its business in half, costing it up to $50 billion in sales each year. Implementing the list could also eliminate up to two million jobs, the ATA said.

Wait a minute, they are suing because they will be losing sales to people wo don't want their products anyway? Anyone else see a problem here?

They're just desperate and the only option they have left is to sue. Kinda like the RIAA...

Either way, they get paid to make calls.
