Tekram DC390F drivers??

Has anyone been able to get the 3.21 or 3.23 drivers working correctly under 98SE post-install? I cannot get them to work no matter WHAT I have tried, and that includes using the Symbios 53c875 drivers from MS -and- from Symbios. I can see my SCSI HDDs fine, but not my CD-ROM. Rgh. Help!!!
