tekken 4 or virtual fighter 4?

I'd say Virtua Fighter 4 - I'm sure you've played Tekken to death - but Virtua Fighter might be new for you . . ..

I think you might not like Virtual Fighter 4 as much, since character control mostly consists of:

punch punch kick, repeat until opponent dies

Tekken is similar, but it's not this repetitive. But, you'll find that Virtual Fighter IS very deep, it's just hidden under MANY layers of mindless button-smashing.

No, but seriously, I have hopes for Virtua Fighter 4. Tekken 4 would need a serious engine revamp in order to make me buy it, as its combat is very dull and boring. I enjoyed 3's extras, like volleyball and Gon, but the 10 second FMVs that were extras left you wondering why they were even there.
