monster is more interesting in terms of what they do, the freebies they get

As long as the focus of AC is the Paul's bitching at/about each other, MG smokes it. When AC focuses on something else, they're about equal.

You forgot the 'neither' option.

That's why I didn't vote 😛

(I'm only very very vaguely aware of what they even are...)

so you admit to being a pussy? well, as long as you can admit to it.

Yes, he's a pussy because he doesn't watch some redneck car show. Just because a man isn't totally interested in motor vehicles, doesn't mean he's not a man.

I used to like garage, but they've changed it from the first season and something bothers me now. I don't like it at all anymore.

I like both, but it's amazing to me how much Paul Jr. DOESN'T know about bikes overall. Yeah, he can put one together, but from what I've seen, he knows dick about the engines or transmissions. When they've visited the engine shops, he is clueless.
He does come up with some neat ideas of things to add on to the bikes, especially the theme bikes, but theme bikes aside, there are lots of builders that make much more appealing bikes to me.
And Jesse James has probably forgotten more about bikes than Jr. will ever know.

Yes it does. 😀

Ummm...Jr is a fabricator. Not a mechanic.

Which means that I'm exactly right.

BTW, if he's such a great fabricator, let's see him build a bike from scratch, rather than ordering everything and then making things to add on to it.
He rarely builds his own tanks, they NEVER have built their own frame that I've seen, and he can't paint, either.
Don't get me wrong, I like the show, and I realize he does know a good bit about bikes, but he is very one-dimensional. All he can do is mock one up, with lots of help.
I think if he had to do it all himself, he'd be lost.

didn't they say last week that they built the lance armstrong bike frame from scratch?

I'm sure that the manufacturer they buy their frames from did, but OCC didn't.

Of course he is one dimensional. Does a welder do paint and engines? No. He's the fabricator. That's his ONE job. 😕

As for the other stuff...that's your opinion. I have no doubt he doesn't know a lot about bikes. He's pretty damn creative though...even if he isn't the ONLY one doing all the work to get to his vision.

I agree that Jr. is creative, I never said he wasn't. Just that to me, a "fabricator" is someone who can do it all. Maybe he can, but to date he hasn't.
Let's see him take some metal tubing and make a bike out of it. Mostly what he does is order stuff, modify some of it, then assemble it.
That is all still a pain in the ass, but again...to me, fabrication is building it from scratch. ALL of it.

Until he does that, many people will consider him to be an assembler, or at best, a modifier....not a true fabricator.
