Teflon > Fondue

Just made a sh!tload of cheese fondue in a teflon double boiler for transfer to a chafing dish (sterno heated) and it just glopped out all at once rather than being a b!tch like it was with a stainless steel double broiler

I apologize as I do not mean to come off as hostile, but I simply do not understand how you can get confused about something like that. Even if you are used to teflon used in any other context, you'd know that pure teflon, or PTFE is a very soft, white plastic and you would just KNOW that the person must be referring to a coating of some sort in a high heat application and not pure teflon.
