Yowch.. why so many gone? Teeth in bad shape?

heh.. I'm one to talk, I haven't been to the dentist in 15 years.

:Q

No, perfect shape, just overcrowding to a degree that had to get corrected.

That, and my coverage for oral surgery is about to run out, and I'd rather get this done before they're infected globs of Death festering in the back of my mouth.

Ahh.. Wow, that's some major overcrowding.

Teeth = Teeth - 25%

Umm, I was thinking about this. You are using "fuzzy math". You are mixing unit of teeth and percent. teeth minage a percentage is not scientifically possible.

You should restate your subject as the following:
Teeth = 0.75 * Teeth

Or more accurately:
TeethOriginal = 32
TeethLost = 8

SOLUTION:
TeethFactor = (TeethOrigianal - TeethLost)/TeethOrigianal
TeethCurrent = (TeethFactor)*TeethOriginal

MATH:
TeethFactor = (32-8)/32 = 0.75
TeethCurrent = 0.75*32

TeethCurrent = 24

Teeth = Teeth - 25%

Variable setting. The 25% as a string gets parsed into "25% of current value of varible being reassigned."

Teeth = Teeth - 25%
Teeth = (32) - 25%(32)
Teeth = 32 - 8
Teeth = 24

WTF, you're Canadian. Why is your coverage about to "run out"?

Despite rumours to the contrary, medical procedures are rarely fully covered for anyone north of the border. If they're "emergency" then yes - but unless they were a direct threat to my life due to infection, it's not covered under free healthcare.

So Canadians pay for health insurance twice? Once in taxes ad once in a policy premium?

Comparing numbers with my buddy stateside, we pay about a tenth of the premiums, get pharmacetuicals covered, etc. But yeah, taxes do go to it. So even if you're unemployed, you still have some health coverage.

Ever see John Q? His son would have been in the hospital ad infinitum until he got the transplant.
