BOSTON -- Bullying at school has been so painful for some youngsters that they took their concerns to the Statehouse Thursday.
NewsCenter 5's Jim Boyd reported that three Everett, Mass., teenagers, now high school students, had the full attention of the legislators as they told their stories of the kind of abuse they suffered at the hands of bullies.
"They threw paper at me, hurt me, punched me and did a lot of stuff to bring me down," student Jerry Lopez said.
"One day a girl pulled my hair, and hit my head against a pole. Ever since that day, I always thought: Why?" student Eduara DaRosa said.
