Teens microwave cat to death.

That's messed up. Why do people do that? Do you think the fact that this is news creates curiosity?
 
I wonder, for how long would the battery in a Taser allow the unit to function continuously? All in favor of doing some human experiments?

A person I know distantly microwaved their cat. It didn't kill it, but it was permanently fucked up from it. It was essentially a mentally handicapped cat.
 
Meh.. I knew some people in high school who put a kitten in the microwave. Not enough to kill it, though, it just ended up with an abnormally large head and a tendency to walk into walls. I started to feel bad about it but then realized it's just a cat.

Edit: I wouldn't microwave these kids as punishments, but I think I would make them 'volunteer' their bodies to medical experiments so they can pay back their debt to society.

You have stated this kind of thing before I believe. Cats as pets, along with dogs are in a different classification than normal animals.

It's highly criminal to shoot a pet, but not so to shoot a feral animal. To microwave, any higher level animal alive, esp a mammal; usually falls under severe animal cruelity laws.

IMHO these kids have some major issues that need to be sorted out NOW whether it was an animal or a person. I would suggest something like a major boot camp/school (like the kind where you break rocks and move them all day and much of the night) and then forced military for the next 6 years after they turn 18. Also I would impose a severe penalty upon the parents possibly incarcerating them.

Kids are getting away with more and more and pushing the envelope. Parents are getting lazier and lazier knowing almost never are they held accountable. Most of the places where I grew up never had problems with kids other than someone skateboarding, throwing some eggs...now they have banned kids unsupervised in many areas because they are permanently defacing property, looting/robbing, and worse.
 
Serial killers usually have a history of killing small animals as a child.

It would be morally correct to execute these kids now before they go from cat killing to putting innocent human beings into ovens. I wouldn't try to "fix" them by sending them to boot camp/school, just destroy them before they actually harm anyone else. I don't believe in second, third, etc chances. Even my 5 year old cousin knows what's right and wrong now.

It's not just a cat, it's someone's pet.

If you don't see anything wrong with torturing an animal, pet or not, simply for some demented pleasure, then you are a complete idiot.
