Teen Accused of Killing Friend With Bat

Ryan Gosporra, 15, said the incident began when Rourke cut in front of the suspect in the snack bar line. Neither he nor Trevino saw the attack that occurred after the last game of the night with about 40 people at the field.
cut in front of me in line? *ding* homer.

unbelievable

He "is not a monster. He's a good boy who made a bad mistake. This is a mistake that will haunt both families for the rest of our lives," the statement said.

i have to disagree, turning off the xbox when you lose is a mistake, beating someone to death is a little more than a "bad mistake"

why does the article focus on the killer and how he is feeling/how bad this is for him? what about the dead kid? :Q

I agree.

I gotta put the kid in the "Monster" catagory. But hopefully this kid gets the help he really needs.

If by 'help', you mean his parents are forbidden from ever breeding again, their remaining children, if any, are removed from the home due to their inability to thoroughly impress on their child that killing someone for cutting in line at the snack bar is wrong,a nd if you mean he is eliminated from planet Earth to forbid any chance he has to pollute the gene pool... then yes, I hope he gets this help as soon as possible.

Mistake! He killed the fvcking kid, this is one mean piece of sh!t monster. :|

Edit: very angry at this incident.

I saw this on the TV in the gym. The coach was saying the suspect is a "good kid."

Good kids don't cave in other people's skulls for no reason.

well it could just be an accident - if he hit him twice with the bat, it's not really brutal beating, more like a assault with stupid consequences.

he cut in front of him in line... :Q instant death sentence.

well what if the kid hit the knees and once in the head that killed him? it doesnt say that he hit him 200x with the bat

it could have just been a mistake and he probably didnt mean to kill him

but anyway BAD kid! BAD!!!

If you assault someone and kill them, it's the same as if you intended to kill them. It's murder. It's only the slight difference between 1st and 2nd degree murder, but it's murder all the same.

And no one stopped him? Throw all the bystanders in jail.

The kid was probably dead, or close to death before anybody realized what was going on. It doesn't take long to take 3-4 shots at someone with a baseball bat, which is more than enough to put someone in a coma, if not kill them.

I don't know how many people mistakenly take shots at another person with a baseball bat, but that's just me.
