I ate at one of these while traveling recently. I'm usually a beef snob (dry aged USDA Prime only), but I had Ted's Bison Ribeye and was thoroughly impressed! Anyone else ate theire like it a lot?

PS Prices were very reasonable too.

Wife and I went there ealier this year for the first time. Both of us had Bison burgers and hated them. They just taste way too "gamey". It leaves a nasty aftertaste. I can see how you'd love them if you like Deer Meat.

love venison as well, it's just a different taste. I don't think I have ever seen venison on any menu's and see bison very rarely.. I'll take either when I can get it.

My son took me to the one in Orange Park and the burgers didn't have a gamey taste at all. I love the complementary pickle-things.

We have one here in Lexington, KY, and I love the burgers. It's been a while since I've ate there, but I don't recall any "gamey" taste to the burgers either.

There's one right near me on Broad Street in Philly that I've been to a few times. I like it a lot.

Never been to one but would like to. The only meat I eat these days is bison and it's not gamey. It's tasty and healthier and I do not support factory farming. I've had ostrich a few times in restaurants but not bothered to get any for home.

Try the buffalo steak, it's fantastic and better for you than beef. Ted's has great prices for the quality of food and service you get.

I have to agree, the buffalo steak is pretty tasty. My brother and I like going there.
