Ted Nugent for Governor of MI

Ted was on Donny Deutsch last night. I've got to say that Donny was a pretty big wuss during the whole thing and took everything out of context. While I'm sure most think he is some sort of ultra conservative, his ideas of holding people responsible make a whole lot of sense. Why should taxpayers be responsible for the meth addict that is draining the system?

Ted Nuget is probably more honest and would make more common sense decisions than 90% of the politicos in office now. Run Ted Run! His commericals would have ill riffs.

What are Ted's stands on education, health care, state corruption, etc. The reason I ask is that there is more to successfully governing a state than shouting extreme neocon platitudes.

I dunno about Ted... at least Arnold has a proven insane work ethic, regardless of his policies. All Ted ever did was play guitar, get wasted, and hunt.

I also don't know how well Ted would be able to motivate big business to relocate to Michigan. In the wake of the auto industry, we really need some jobs around here. I don't know how well of a bargainer the motor city madman would be around a table of corporate executives.

Ted - "Seriously... we'll give you a tax break if you make a plant in Flint"
Exec - "we want more than a measly tax break"
Ted - "ummm... wanna hear some tasty licks???" <guitar wailing ensues>
Exec - "That's not gonna convince me... what are u gonna do?"
Ted - "Thats it! You're messin with tha motor city madman!" <pulls out crossbow and holds it to exec's head>

And the under educated make their stand...voting for Ted is like voting your Sanitary Engineer into a City Office position.

Hell I'd vote for him. The so called traditional politicians have screwed things up pretty damn good, so it's not like it can get much worse.

Ted never got wasted. He's been anti drug/alcohol since before it was fashionable.

He was on the radio, where I herd most of his views. The only thing that turned me off was his unbridled arrogance.

Way to reach for the stars, pinky! That's exactly what many germans said to themselves in the early 1930's. Not that I'm directly comparing Adolf and Ted, after all, Adolf was far more qualified for the position. 😉

He's a psycho murderer. I would NEVER vote for someone that unstable no matter if I agreed with some of his politics.

If our government gave us someone actually worth voting for I wouldn't have that opnion. However I do realize things can actually get worse, I suppose I should rephrase what I mean. It would be interesting to see how he would/if he would screw things up.

WTF?

Hunting your own food instead of buying it from the grocery store loaded with delicious growth hormones and chemicals makes you a psycho murderer.

Umm, Ted doesn't get fvcked up.
He never did, ever.
He has, and admits to an undeniable addiction to hunting and pussy.

Ted is outspoken and believes in what he believes. He's not afraid to say it as he sees it and he's not afraid to shoot you in the face were you to disagree.

I can't say I've always agreed with him, but I sure do love him.
I'd vote for Sweaty Teddy in a heartbeat.

In the US the "government" does not decide who you can vote for, outside of requirement that the US president has to be a natural born citizen.

OP,

Did Mr Nugent say he was interested in running for political office or is it that you approve of what he said in the radio show?

Yeah, he is actually planning to run in 2010. I'm not for celebrities running, but they know how to work a crowd and they don't need to money, so at least for the first year or two they are failrly noncorrupt, unlike professional politicians. He has some good ideas, but I would really like to hear what his plans would be for the majority of things.
