Let's play a little game, shall we?

Can you name a falsehood or smear campaign perpetrated by MSNBC without being prompted to admit it?

And you know full well Fox did not create the Death Panel rumors, nor the 200 million a day report nor the Acorn story. They merely passed them along and focused on them. Much as MSNBC does with their smear campaigns. The question is, can you point them out?

I'll help:

Here's one of my favorites NOT done by MSNBC political commentators, but by their fucking NEWS division:

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=cef_1288018468

What a fucking laugh. The most blatant attempt at race baiting EVER by the MSM. A flat out lie to promote racial tension.

And you think MSNBC is any better than Fox? Here's a hint: We can go round and round like this for days.

They are not better.

That can't be true, Craig promised that MSNBC would never lie......or is it that it is OK for MSNBC to lie because they are pushing a "correct" ideology. Its so very confusing.

Are we seriously comparing a news network which is officially affiliated with a major political party and a news network which isn't?

Laugh.

Anyway, you shouldn't get your news from TV, and if you do, stick with PBS/BBC.

Tep Koppel is an idiot:

lol #1

The commercial success of both Fox News and MSNBC

lol #2

While I can appreciate the financial logic of drowning television viewers in a flood of opinions designed to confirm their own biases, the trend is not good for the republic

lol #3

flaunts opinions as though they were facts

too much lol to post. The entire thing is lol.

The part in Koppel's commentary about "confirming their own biases" is quite correct.

So Ted is basically pining away for a brief period in American news where everything was filtered through 3 network newscasts. If they didn't cover it then it obviously was not important. He conveniently ignores the entire history of newpapers prior to TV network news where cities had multiple papers with biases across the spectrum. Many of them reflected the party or point of view they supported in the name of the paper itself.
