To quote Ben Franklin:

And yes, property requirements and income requirements are equivalent in this case. I hope this shows the fundamental stupidity of income and property requirements for voting.

It's amazing to me that pretty much every election cycle, regardless of the actual people running and the current pressing issues, I always hear some within the GOP ranks bring up the "some people have more skin in the game" angle. As your quote would indicate, this issue has been settled for some time now. Some miss "land and business owners" being their own little caste with special rights, how ironic these are the same people squawking about "Making America great again," or "taking our country back!"

No, you idiots who failed history and civics aren't doing anything but embarrassing yourselves and making it abundantly clear you're not to be taken seriously. Fuck off back to talk radio with that shit.

I didn't say voting should have income requirements, I said if you have income you should have a federal income tax payment requirement. The right to vote provides the justification for the later obligation.
He wants only the rich to eat beef and he doesn't like to represent what he's arguing against accurately. FYI

I find it funny that some are actually proposing the reinstatement of poll taxes.

truly startling....especially when you consider the poor rural hillbillies that make up the base of republican districts. it's like a self-defeating, unconstitutional proposition.

This is in no way shape or form an endorsement, but thread title totally made me think of this.

The unbolded part is funny because it's so stupid.

The bolded part is funny because you are somehow unaware of your massive hypocrisy here.

This thread is hilarious. It's based on one *poll*, not *polls*. The Donald is still crushing Cruz in every other conceivable poll.
