That's a lot of pixels. It's impressive these cards can power through some of these games. On the other hand, half the games weren't playable at the 7680x1600 so it would certainly be interesting to see what these cards can do when you tweak the graphical settings instead of just putting everything at max. But the other triple monitor resolutions were pretty much playable in most of the games. Impressive.

I wish they had tried max playable settings too. It looks like even at the highest resolution the games all would have remained playable, if they would have made the effort.

7680*1600 is the Max res for nVidia (3 monitor limit). Double it for Eyefinity (6 monitors). Technically you could run 12 monitors from 2x6990. It would be in 2 groups of 6 though, not "Eyefinity 12".

A pair of 6990's running 8000*2560 (5x30" in portrait to keep the bezels out of the center) would be a frightening setup.
