This is the future. Computers are appliances. You buy it, you use it until it no longer does its job, you replace.

Yes, this idea is at LEAST 7-10 years ahead of its time.

Just wait a year or so. It won't be $2000, and for those of us interested in the 13", I betcha it will be closer to $1400.

Yet we buy subsized $600+ phones every other year and nary a word about their upgrade ability or repairability.

Or $2000 TV's that eventually break down. Or high end receivers. ECU's in cars instead of easily worked on carb based systems. Ect.
