Well, we saw this coming. LINK:

Other pics I've seen of this show 3x8pin connectors. Here's hoping those were accurate. Just read further and it's going to have 4x 8pins! I really think the cooler is going to struggle though. Not happy about the "vanilla" outputs. For ultra hires I'd like to see multiple DP connectors.

4x 8 pins is 600W and then the slot provides 75W which is crazy amounts of power consumption. About the only thing that can cool that reasonably is a fully specced out custom water loop, trying to cool that even partially on air is going to be loud, louder than anything we have seen from AMD so far and well beyond tolerable.

AMD isn't making it so if it's power hungry and loud don't blame them.

3.5 slots? Cooler looks pretty beefy. Guess it might be able to hang.

With the 295x2 on the market it wouldn't make sense to release the card if the cooler sucked.

4x8 pin is crazy but might be just used for more consistent stable voltage.

The number of connectors doesn't determine how much power a card will use. You know that. Since the 295X2 works splendidly with an AIO 120mm hybrid cooler there's no reason to think this wouldn't as well. Saying it would need a "fully specced out custom water loop" is FUD. Why would you make a post like this? Everything about it is just wrong.

I'm skeptical too, but Powercoler actually has a pretty good track record with their custom cards. They might actually be able to pull this off.

As promised. it's at computex in the flesh. I'm sure Charlie would have said if it had wood screws. :D

Big and heavy. Lots of copper and aluminum to hopefully tame the heat.

Here's the 4x 8pins. No lack of power delivery circuitry for this one.

A sticker with Roy Taylor's sig? That's a good endorsement, I suppose. I'm not a big fan of the backplate's appearance. It's obviously there to strengthen the card and not for the cosmetics

What does "dual core" mean lol.

It must just be an aftermarket 295x2 "dual core" makes zero sense do they mean dual die? Terrible marketing.

I think the main potential advantage this card has is that dual 295x2 card costs $1500. There is a lot of room to offer a better price, but on the other hand they may not compete that way, and they have obviously spent money designing it.

It will be hard to compete with water cooling in any case.
