You all have some sort of this at your jobs. The person who is responsible for maintaining the computers and learning new software.
Here is my gripe....I have worked in IT where the people in this job can really know their stuff. Now in my current job of Education, the people are not so savvy, but still think they are the shite.
They sit around for ten minutes discussing which search engine is better.
Then sit around for five minutes saying that the cd with word files on it is only PC compatible! (bangs head against wall)
Heck, just because you can buy a scanner and install it does not make you a guru.
Now I want to keep my ego in check, because then I would be just like them in just a few years.
But gosh almighty, can't they look around and realize how low on the knowledge totem pole they are in regard to technology.
