Sure, why not? I'm at work, I got time to spare. Let me go do a little research.

EDIT: Have you played around with your "hosts" file in the last few days/weeks?

Negative. Did you read my last entry on the original thread? How it doesn't effect my explorer when I login as another user? So that means it has to be in Documents and Settings/Administrator correct?

Ok, not to be repetitive, but let's just clarify here:

EDITED:

1) Have you run Ad-Aware? (With all updates)
2) Have you run SpyBot? (With all updates)
3a) Do you have any sort of AV Installed?
3b) Is it updated?
3c) Which AV program you using?
4a) Have you run any online scans?
4b) Which ones?

First things first, download this FREE Anti-Virus program here. Install, UPDATE, then Scan. And report back.

Maaaaaan...that took forever(HD is full). Didn't find anything.

Dude just to type this out my pc is lagging so hard...full cpu usage. argh.

For some reason...I'm thinking it might have something to do with the Swap File....but probably not. It's late, I suck.

I'll look again at this in the morning.

A couple fairly minor things, which may "help":

1) Free up a bit more space (more than one partition?)
2) Decrease the size of your Internet Cache

Running any add-on browser software?

What version of MS Office is that?

meh... is tight but should be enough free space... (was going for "virtual mem" may be on the virge... but seems like no...)
btw i checked all the processes you're running on none seems to be harmfull... (meaning also no antivirus-blocker seems to run).

sorry luke1 i'm out of ideas... 🙁

(you got the latest security-updates from ms?)

If all that doesn't work - check your memory and run memtest. You might have a bad stick

Yea but this doesn't explain the 3900 popups I got in the past 3 days. And I can play bf 1942 no problem.

Running googlebar. This is so weird, I can browse most sites no problem, but it seems forums specifically cause the maxing out of the cpu. To type this takes a second for each letter to appear.

Guys I REALLY appreciate the help, I am just completely stumped and frustrated.
