Techies, are u waiting for the DDR and SDRAM boards from various MOBO makers to buye? or will that take 2-3 generations 4 the problems to be smoked out? For example the MSI new Turbo boards have the bios making everyone going crazy... etc etc..
Please give me your thinking, and what you would buy in the next 3 weeks or so.
I was about to buye MSI K7T Turbo-R and canelled out of a group buye because of the problem reports it had with bios. I never built a system on my own (have built 3 systems with a friend's help, but never did the wire connections to the case) I have just had a pentium 133mhz and never overclocked and may or may not overclock I plan to do video editing, and on very rare ocasions I may play a game, but I always have avoided games. I will edit videos with ATI AIW Radion 32 DDR I already own and waiting for the MOBO, and presently have no agp slot so my new MOBO will be my first AGP ever. I already bought 516 megs of ram and on the 16th of Mar., my antec sx1030 is ariving and I am thinking to get 2 30MB Matrox Hard drives to Raid connect, which are now selling locally in hawaii for $130 each. and a T-bird 1.2 (266 FSB) (I donno much about them and will go to the appropriate forum section for Matrox hard drive quality drive inputs, but u may e-mail me or PM me your suggestions if not thread related)
