When you goto the old site, there is a message Please contact the site owner for more information; but I don't remember his email address.

Well, I know that the guy running it was expected to be out for a bit; but he left someone else to adminster. They guy hadn't updated from 12/16 till like 2 days ago, when I first noticed the site being unreachable.

Raz: techbargains is another good one, but it's just not the same. Techdeals was run by someone who had a humor, a personality that carried over in his deals/updates. Not to take anything away from the other great sites out there though. Techdeals has been around for like 2-3 yrs now...come back

Yea, that was a pretty cool site. I liked all the headlines for the deals. A guy I worked with had a deal posted there beginning of December and was tickled pink to see his name up there..

I believe Dave used to post to these forums as "Maverick". I think he said he was going to Hawaii for a few weeks. Although I exchanged emails with him a couple of times, they were through the TechDeals site addy (obviously not very usefull now).
