Tech Support Jobs starting at $10 an hour Orlando Area

I suppose since there are job postings listed at the top of this forum this may be appropriate.

Anyhow, I just started at a place called Connextions which does outsourced tech support, QUALITY outsourced tech support (I say this because I came from a low level place IMO, Convergys).

I thought you needed call center experience, but there is a guy training that knows some computer stuff but has never been on the phones before in my class training for Olympus.

Right now they are hiring for Multi-Client Techs which means you would support Olympus, Napster and/or Sandisk. They will be hiring more for Olympus, and before long they will be hiring A LOT of seasonal techs too (if you want a real fulltime job, apply soon).

I really think I am going to like it here myself, much better than my old job. People seem to actually enjoy themselves there and it is a good atmosphere. You get your own desk etc unlike my previous job. Olympus is a little more strict, but I have a friend in Sandisk, and you can use instant messenger and browse etc while you're there.

Anyhow, I believe you can download and fill out applications at www.connextions.com. Just fax it or drop it off (other info on site). PM me if you're interested in the job, or post here and I will answer any questions that I can (remember, I'm new there too). And if you apply, make sure to say that Arthur Wilbur referred you! That's only a small part of why I'm posting this, I really think it's a good opportunity unless you already have some kind of high paying job.

If anyone is in the North East, you can bag groceries starting at $10.50 on Martha's Vinyard.

And what you do for a living, Mr. Dickhead?

What do you do with a BA in Cinema Studies?

Tech support for $10.50 an hour 😛

I kid, I kid. 🙂

Edit: this is a good job if you are in school/college. I worked at walmart and my school help desk for only $7.25 and $9.00 an hour.

Well, this isn't the Northeast, idiot.

And I'm not in the South East, WTF is your point ? :disgust:

NE ALSO has a hiring living cost, if I do recall. So 10.50 there isn't going to do much for you. I think that was his point 😉

Five posts and people are calling each other idiot and dickhead. Impressive!

Well I do try 😀

LMAO

I hope you saw the sarcasm in my post. I don't think you could live on $10 an hour on Martha's Vinyard. The rent alone would be more.

Hm. Since when does [/threadcrap] signify sarcasm? Silly me, I thought it meant you were threadcrapping.

Yep, you don't do much until you get a masters. I am going for my masters in the spring (mass communication) 😎.

Well, Convergys is just outside of orlando, and they'll hire just about anyone that has a HS degree - but they *suck* to work for - but most everyone has to put their tech support/helpdesk time in sometime 😀

Isn't this kind of like posting referral links?

I didn't think something like this was OK, but I do see the jobs jobs jobs post at the top where the person is referring.

If it ends up being against the rules, mods, please delete my name and referral info.

If jokes saying that you make less than a damn bagboy, it's obviously insulting.
You do know that out in CA some grocery workers (Albertson's) are at 19.50/hr right? Thats 40k a year.

Of course rent is $2500 a month. Demographics and Location baby!
