I suppose since there are job postings listed at the top of this forum this may be appropriate.
Anyhow, I just started at a place called Connextions which does outsourced tech support, QUALITY outsourced tech support (I say this because I came from a low level place IMO, Convergys).
I thought you needed call center experience, but there is a guy training that knows some computer stuff but has never been on the phones before in my class training for Olympus.
Right now they are hiring for Multi-Client Techs which means you would support Olympus, Napster and/or Sandisk. They will be hiring more for Olympus, and before long they will be hiring A LOT of seasonal techs too (if you want a real fulltime job, apply soon).
I really think I am going to like it here myself, much better than my old job. People seem to actually enjoy themselves there and it is a good atmosphere. You get your own desk etc unlike my previous job. Olympus is a little more strict, but I have a friend in Sandisk, and you can use instant messenger and browse etc while you're there.
Anyhow, I believe you can download and fill out applications at www.connextions.com. Just fax it or drop it off (other info on site). PM me if you're interested in the job, or post here and I will answer any questions that I can (remember, I'm new there too). And if you apply, make sure to say that Arthur Wilbur referred you! That's only a small part of why I'm posting this, I really think it's a good opportunity unless you already have some kind of high paying job.
