has anyone noticed this?

yesterday, i had to call microsoft to activate a product at work. i got someone with a very distinct indian accent who introduced himself as "johnson."

"hello, and thank you for calling microsoft. this is johnson. how can i help you?"

do you REALLY think his name is johnson? i don't. 😕

yep - American or English names, as well as talking about things like the weather etc so that they sound 'local'. This was talked about when call centres were first relocated
