I thought trying to deal with lawyers and attorneys was difficult but doctors are just plain a$sclowns. Doc i just had to deal with had no time to quickly troubleshoot a bad kb b/c he had paperwork to file or some stuff. Takes 1 min to ts a kb and this fuq tells me we should have someone come do it, like there is 24/7 support for a kb. He's in PA and i'm in TN. He tries telling me he cant get me the ip of the machine so i can dial into it and fix the kb. WHo the hell said i wanted an ip and how in the hell can i fix it from here if he wont work with me. Then he gets upset. I then told him to stop having his wife piss in his cherios and he hangs up. Ok well that didint happen but i love people. i so do./rantoff

Next time, in English please.

Hopefully, your real life communications skills are far superior to the skill you've shown here.

Yeah, but he sure knows how to tell me to "fvck off".

Glad he learned the important parts of English and didn't worry about the rest.

haha...that would be believable.

Altho just about any doctor would be believable too...with what many of them get paid, their above troubleshooting computer issues with the little people.

what is it with these noobs?!?!?!
I was a lan administrator for an office with 20 doctors. While they were hard to deal with at times, I didnt mind working in such an environment. Yea, they're busy all right, but you just have to stand your ground and work with them. You and I may not believe in some of their antics, but they sign your paychecks (well the ones I worked for that is).

I really dont know what's worst though. I work at a private school filled with females who's husbands are rich. These are normal ppl who have some skills in computers. Well, trying to deal with these ppl are much harder in my opinion. You tell them something once and they'll forget. How many times do I have to tell you how to change your password? While they have more patience than doctors, I just think they are dumber in a sense. I just think the doctors are more incline to learn about technology, whereas these folks just dont wanna be bothered.

Man I know how you feel I do desktop support at Children's hospital in OKC.... They can be very difficult sometimes. The ones that know just enouph to get themselves in trouble are the worst. (ex. when they start playing with there VPN access and Remote Desktop)
We have to shut them down all the time.

Try the doctor's wife. Try telling her that her stupidity will keep them from billing a million dallors in claims for 1 week until we can get a tech on site. She will actually try to get you to help her faster by saying, "i am the doctor's wife!".

I wish doctors would be willing to pay more then 6.00 an hour for competent staff and keep the doctor's wife at home.

But I dont do tech support anymore! So I really dont care.

If you want to get people on your side, politeness is always helpful. Something else that helps is the ability to effectively communicate and persuade people.

From reading your posts, I get the feeling that you are an intolerant uneducated self-righteous fool that thinks his time is worth more than the customers. Am I wrong? If the answer is yes, try and convince me otherwise. Otherwise, I will continue to think you are a twat along with everyone else reading this thread.
